Attended by over 100 children from across the Rockingham district, including nearby Waikiki and Safety Bay, the kids enjoyed an action packed hour of basketball skills and drills lead by star Wildcats players Ben Hunt, Brad Robbins, Shawn Redhage, Peter Crawford, Aaron Trahair, Jeff Dowdell and Mike Homik.

Conducted in small groups, the clinic was designed to provide children with the opportunity to pick up some basketball tips from the best in WA.

Perth Wildcats guard Ben Hunt said the clinics have been a huge hit with the children and are one of his favourite parts of being a Wildcats player.

"We love working with kids and doing clinics," Wildcats guard Ben Hunt said. "I remember when I was a kid and meeting NBL basketball players – it was one of the reasons I took on the sport. Basketball has taken me to the US and paid for my university studies. We feel it’s our turn give something back and we can’t wait to go down to Rockingham and work with the youth there."
